Injectables

REFRESH YOUR LOOK WITH FACIAL INJECTABLES.

RESTORE LOST FACIAL VOLUME, REDUCE FINE LINES AND WRINKLES.

Facial rejuvenation doesn’t always involve surgery. A great way to get rid of that “tired look” and soften fine lines and wrinkles is to consider facial injectables. From fillers to neuromodulators such as Botox® or Disport®, there are quite a few injectables to consider.

Facial injectables such as Botox® or Disport® can be used to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead creases, brow lines, lip lines and downturned lateral lips that give the impression of sadness and aging. Botox® can even be used to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) by injecting into the sweat glands of the armpits, feet or hands. Botox® works by weakening the muscles it is injected into, and can last up to 3-6 months. Its full effect usually occurs at 2 weeks post-injection.

Botox can be used effectively to:

decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face

reduce the appearance of crow’s feet around the eyes

diminish frown lines, forehead creases and brow lines

give a slight elevation to the lateral eyebrow

reduce excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis

Facial fillers such as Juvéderm™, Voluma™, Restylane® and Emervel® are non-surgical treatments which can be used for facial rejuvenation. There are many types of fillers, with hyaluronic acid being the most popular. This is a safe, naturally occurring sugar molecule that plumps-up the area treated. The goal with fillers is to improve your appearance by adding volume in an area that is “deflated”. In appropriately chosen patients, it will soften signs of aging and give you a more youthful appearance. Fillers can last anywhere from 6-18 months, depending on the product used and the area being treated.

Fillers can effectively be used to:

  • rejuvenate the face, without undergoing surgery and anaesthetic
  • restore lost volume in the hollows of the cheeks
  • recreate the appearance of high cheek bones
  • refresh your appearance without looking “overdone”
  • correct under eye “bags” (tear trough deformity)
  • contour the nasolabial folds, chin or cheeks
